On March 2, 2016, the Niagara Region hosted their 6th Annual Niagara Community Design Awards – and MZE was delighted to take the podium twice!
“These awards recognize and celebrate excellence in design in Niagara region that demonstrates the application of Smart Growth Principles.”
“Smart Growth is essentially a means to make more sustainable development choices in an effort to create vibrant urban centres, sustain a strong economy, ensure a healthy environment, and combat urban sprawl.”
Along with many other great projects and urban planning initiatives MZE received awards for:
· Sustainability – DSBN, Walker Living Campus @ Woodend, Niagara-on-the-lake
· Architecture Large Budget – DSBN, 20 Valley Public School, Lincoln
