September 2015 - Mid-century Modern MZE, 1966

In the past 55+ years we have followed some trends in our Architecture and Interior Design, but if you area around long enough, retro is all the rage! The new owner of this house contacted MZE to ask if we still had the original drawings in our archives - we do! Actually, we have over 100 years of projects in our archives.

Hiding in our archives from 1966 was this mid-century modern housed designed by MZE's co-founder, Architect, Michael Zuberec. We are delighted to know that it has been well maintained over the years and is now owned by someone who wants to restore the interior to it’s original design.

Designing to save you time & money!

We provide proper project planning, suggest numerous design considerations, material selections, and durable detailing to all of our Clients. If there are changes to the scope of the project they are more easily done while on paper than on the job site. We often provide 3D modelling as a tool to clearly communicate with our Clients throughout the design process. Our final design drawings and project specifications capture the full scope of a project and provides the opportunity for competitive tendering to qualified Contractors.
